Expert Mini-Split Cleaning in New Jersey
Deep cleaning for ductless heads: blower wheel, coil and drain pan, where mold and odor usually start.
Why mini-split cleaning matters
Ductless heads have a reputation for being maintenance-free, and it isn't earned. Behind the front cover is a wet coil and a barrel fan in a tight, dark housing — near-ideal conditions for mold. Rinsing the mesh filters, which is what most owners do, never reaches any of it.
What the job includes
- Head unit opened up beyond the filters, which is where the problem actually is
- Barrel fan and coil deep cleaned with a bib wash so nothing runs down your wall
- Drain pan and condensate line cleared
- Filters and louvres cleaned, unit reassembled and tested
Signs you need it
- A sour or musty smell when the head starts up
- Black speckling visible on the louvres or the barrel fan
- The unit spitting water or droplets into the room
- Cooling output down, or it has never been opened up
